I am looking for information about the “old” National Wax museum that use to be located in dc. It was at 26th and E street NW from (1958-1965) and then to Fifth and K street NW from (1966-1974) and finally from (1975-1982) it was located at Fourteen and E street SW. I am basically looking for articles about the places and pictures of the place it they still do exist.

This is a very late response, sorry. I was only familiar with the last incarnation of the Wax Museum and my experience there was mostly from attending concerts there in the mid-late '80s.It was at 4th and E, not 14th and E. It was torn down a few years ago.

I saw Albert Collins, NRBQ, Henny Youngman, King Sunny Ade, Switchblade and others there. I don't have, nor know anyone who has, pictures from those shows.
