I really enjoy visiting this creation of Don's. It seems as though activity has dropped off since the upgrade. It sorta came out in the About the Board category.

W/ Don's permission(?) do you have any thoughts...

"What I liked about the old board was that there was but 1 category. Topics were random & jumbled. Threads often morphed way off of the original theme & even got a little testy at times. You never new what you would find or how a conversation would turn - I loved that. There was kind of an edge to it. Somethings are better organized & some not so much.

Just my 2 cents. "

I too liked the old board much better. I liked being able to quickly scan through all the topics and see what was posted.

I guess we all long for the good old days, lol!

I like both boards. I don't contribute much, but it isn't a lack of interest on my part. I am trying to rustle up some interesting things to contribute. My connections to the DC area are strong, but are filed under seasonal, and emotional memories. I have now BECOME my older realtives, and I understand why they talked about "the old times". We only have so many memories, but, surprisingly, I am shown a few things that I thought I had lost, when someone here reminds me. And I sound like my relatives who used to say "Oh That's right ! " I am ok with "becoming them" now.
